01 / CONTROLLER

Who we are

Blueringed Limited is a company registered in Jersey under company number 142487. For the personal information described in this notice, Blueringed Limited is normally the data controller: the organisation deciding why and how that information is used.

We are registered with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner under Data Protection No. 71080. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@blueringed.com.

Scope of this notice

This notice covers blueringed.com, website enquiries, subscriptions, Customer Journey Audit requests, the O2C Health Check and information used to scope or deliver Blueringed engagements. A specific engagement agreement may provide additional information where the work requires it.

02 / INFORMATION

What we collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

  • your name, job title, business email address and telephone number;
  • your organisation’s name, website, jurisdiction, registration number, sector, size and customer type;
  • enquiry messages and documents you choose to upload;
  • answers provided through the O2C Health Check, including process, systems, invoicing, payment and operational information;
  • Customer Journey Audit instructions, transaction route, purchase budget and areas you ask us to observe;
  • engagement communications, meeting notes, findings, invoices and payment status;
  • subscription preferences and records of consent; and
  • technical information such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, pages viewed and cookie choices.

We may review public information about an organisation—such as its website, company registry entry or public business profile—when you ask us to do so or where it is reasonably necessary to understand an enquiry or engagement.

Please share proportionately

Do not send special-category personal information, private information about another person, or confidential documents unless it is necessary and Blueringed has agreed an appropriate way to receive it.

We do not sell personal information. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for an appropriate purpose. Depending on the interaction, recipients may include:

International processing

Some technology or professional-service providers may process information outside Jersey. Where personal information is transferred internationally, Blueringed takes proportionate steps to use recognised safeguards, an adequate jurisdiction or another lawful transfer mechanism, as applicable.

You may contact us if you would like information about the safeguards relevant to your personal data.

06 / RETENTION

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing services, maintaining appropriate business records, meeting legal, tax or regulatory requirements, resolving disputes and protecting legal rights.

  • Unconverted enquiries: normally reviewed for deletion after 24 months.
  • Subscription records: until you unsubscribe, plus a limited suppression record so we can respect that choice.
  • Client, transaction and financial records: retained for the applicable statutory period and in line with Blueringed’s documented retention requirements.
  • Website security and analytics data: retained according to the configured service and cookie period, then deleted or aggregated.

Retention may be extended where a record is needed for an active issue, legal claim, regulatory request or another lawful reason. Data that is no longer required is deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of.

07 / PROTECTION

Security and confidentiality

Blueringed uses proportionate organisational and technical measures intended to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. These may include access controls, secure service providers, system updates, backups, staff confidentiality and limiting access to what is needed.

No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed as completely secure. If you believe information has been sent to Blueringed incorrectly or may be at risk, contact us promptly.

Information shared during an Audit or wider engagement is treated as confidential and used for the agreed work. Findings are not published, attributed or shared externally without permission unless disclosure is required by law. A mutual confidentiality agreement can be arranged where appropriate.

08 / WEBSITE DATA

Cookies are small files placed on a device. Essential cookies may be used for website operation, security, form validation and remembering privacy choices. With your consent where required, analytics cookies may help us understand aggregated website use and improve content and journeys.

You can use the website’s cookie controls and your browser settings to reject or remove non-essential cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect website functions. Third-party pages reached through external links apply their own cookies and privacy terms.
